Teneille and Ryan’s engagement shoot at Azuridge had special meaning to them as that’s where Ryan proposed. I absolutely love special locations to document my couples! Taking photos somewhere they had previously been to soak in all the memories really keeps the moment alive.
Azuridge Estate Hotel
On the day of the shoot it ended up not being the most ideal weather. However, Teneille and Ryan were resilient and were ready to make some adjustments as needed! The staff at Azuridge were so kind and accommodating. They let us use some of the indoor locations due to the rain, which was great as it gave us more options to get different photos. The property itself is stunning! If luxury and elegance is what you’re looking for, Azuridge Estate Hotel is where it’s at!
I always encourage my couples to bring two different outfits (if you’re wondering what else to bring to an engagement session here are a few ideas). Teneille decided to bring one of her wedding dresses - on her wedding day she was going to wear a western white dress and also a red Chinese dress either called a qipao or cheongsam. She decided to wear her Chinese traditional dress for the engagement shoot, which turned out really beautiful. The cherry red color went perfect with the brick structures at Azuridge!
It was short and sweet, the weather wasn't great, they were troopers, and we all made the best out of it. As long as my couples are game, I’m always game and prepared to adjust for a rainy photoshoot. Take a look at another rainy engagement shoot if you’re worried about it raining on your special day.
