Greg proposed to Laura last Christmas and she of course excitedly said yes! They planned their dream wedding for this March but covid-19 hit and everything got cancelled. They still wanted to say I DO so they had an intimate backyard wedding and photo's outside. Laura did not wear her wedding dress, as she wanted to save it for their big celebration and wore a cocktail dress. Unfortunately, nobody noticed that some of Laura's makeup rubbed off onto Greg's face and you could see it in all their photos. Not feeling super confident with their photo's, this wonderful couple contacted me for an adventure session at Emerald Lake.
We had a gorgeous day at Emerald Lake. It is such a perfect place for photos with the turquoise water, wild flowers, big beautiful trees and surrounding mountains. Because Greg never got to see Laura in her original wedding dress, we did a first look and it was so emotional and sweet. Laura looked so stunning and Greg was super stylish is his burgundy suit, topped that off with the most perfect bouquet and boutonniere from Adventure Floral! We all know how much I love barefoot adventures in the mountains and Laura was totally open to some photos showing her pedicured toes on the forest floor.
We were so pleased to be able to capture the touching moments that Laura and Greg were hoping for and for Greg to be makeup free haha. Being around a couple that is so in love makes my work so much fun. Greg oozes love for Laura and the way she looks at him could melt an ice cube. We adored this fun adventure shoot and super sweet couple.
