We are over the moon excited to share Cori and Jules' farm wedding on the blog today. It might surprise you, but even though we spend a lot of time photographing Rocky Mountain elopements and Calgary weddings, we actually head east to enjoy our prairie neighbor Saskatchewan quite a bit! As you can see in the photos, it did not disappoint. Cori and Jules got married on a family property and there was so much room for us to move around and get creative (what we do best!). Starting the wedding day with first looks: with the bridesmaids, with the bride's father, and then with each other
I love when our couples truly become our friends and this was definitely the case with Cori and Jules. We started the day photographing the details and then had a first look inside the house with Cori and her bridesmaids. From there, Cori came outside and had a sweet first look with her dad. Finally, Cori and Jules had a sweet first look at one of the private places on their property. When I tell you it was a HOT day, I'm not exaggerating. You can see Jules trying to cool himself down with a mini fan in the photos.
Farm Wedding Ceremony
Being on a private property, Cori and Jules were able to choose the details and set up so it was exactly as they imagined. They did such an amazing job of transforming the space, and set up the ceremony arch to a place with the most incredible views. Money can't buy a venue like this!
Barn Wedding Reception & Sunset Wedding Photos
After the ceremony and wedding photos, we headed to their gorgeous barn venue for a night of dancing and celebrating. During one of the toasts, Cori's sister said that Cori and Jules' love story was like the notebook. Throughout the years, they have always found their way back to each other.
During the reception, we also snuck away for some sunset bride and groom photos. The lighting was absolutely PERFECT. We got a mix of candid photos (we were having so much FUN!), and a ton of romantic moments. When two people love each other this much, the photos just hit differently.
Saskatchewan Farm Wedding Photographers
Cori and Jules truly became our friends after this and looking back on their wedding photos I can't help but feel completely warm inside.
