I know we might say this every time but seriously, this playful summer wedding at Granary Road was a fave! Belanna and Jarrett have the most infectious smiles and planned an incredible wedding that was completely true to them, which honestly warms my heart from the inside out. As wedding and elopement photographers, our favourite wedding days are ALWAYS ones that feel true and unique to the couple getting married. Big or small, your wedding day should be about YOU. Belanna and Jarrett are two down-to-earth, old souls, that usually start their weekends with a game of crib! Their wedding was filled with playful moments, thoughtful touches, and a TON of love.

Unique and Personal Wedding Details
If you want to add unique and personal wedding details to your wedding day but don't know where to start, Belanna and Jarrett's wedding should provide more than enough inspiration! At Fly Free, we were fortunate enough to have met Belanna and Jarrett through another couples' wedding (Curtis and Maddie!) and when I tell you that referrals mean the world to us, we literally can't even begin to find the words to describe how grateful we are for each and every one. It was nice to see our past groom, Curtis, as part of the wedding party this time around!
For unique wedding details, Belanna brought in converse shoes which were such a fun contrast to her lace wedding dress (and kept her comfortable all day!). For the men, they all wore cool socks and Jarrett rocked a fun bowtie. More than their attire, they also made their wedding day timeline intentionally to capture unique moments (couples - we help you with the timeline so don't stress!). One of the funniest moments was when Jarrett gave each of his groomsmen Smirnoff Ice before the wedding photos. One of the sweetest moments? When Belanna and Jarrett had a "first touch" and exchanged letters before the ceremony.
Fun Wedding Ideas
It's hard to put into words the playful, joyful, nature of their wedding day because it was truly all smiles and laughter throughout the entire day. As I went through their gallery, Belanna and Jarrett incorporated a few fun wedding ideas that really stuck out to us (throughout the day!).
First, during the wedding ceremony, their ring bearer and flower girls carried the cutest signs from "ring security" to "I'm just here for the cake". After the ceremony, Belanna and Jarrett took advantage of their country wedding venue and got to go on the tractor around the property. Then, Belanna went down the zipline (no high heels to tie her down!) and they headed to the park on the property for more wedding photos (and let's be honest - to have more fun!). They both made the most of every single moment and it was absolutely precious to document.
Sunset Wedding Photos
Remember when I mentioned that if you hire Fly Free Photography to be a part of your day, we will help you with the wedding day timeline? Part of that is finding out whether or not sunset photos are important to you (and then making it happen!). On Belanna and Jarrett's wedding day, they had the most EPIC sunset and we made the most of it by having their first dance, just the two of them, as the sun went down. They wanted it to be a private moment and honestly, it could not have been more stunning or special.
