I do love capturing family moments and Clay and Isabel’s lovely family are no exception. I have known Clay since high school so we have been good friends for a long time.
He moved far away to Vancouver but we stayed in touch; and I used to make trips ever so often to visit him. So, on my recent trip to Vancouver, I had planned to see him and his growing family anyway, so when I convinced them to do a mini family session, I was elated. As both Clay and Isabel are not huge fans of photos, haha.

Vancouver family photographer
We had such a great time on the shoot, his daughter, Akira, is turning two this year. She is literally a doll with the cutest smile ever! She had on a lovely knit outfit, handmade by her grandma, so that was super awesome. Clay and the family had just gotten back from the Philippines from visiting Isabel’s family down there, so they were all tanned up and looking good. Vancouver is amazing in the springtime, if you haven’t been, it’s a must! So many places are filled with beautiful cherry blooms and everything smells amazing! We went around this lovely cherry grove and played in the blossoms, I love being able to just document families having a great time!
It was a truly great day. I was thrilled to see Clay and the family again, we caught up on a lot of stuff while also getting awesome photos; So we hope these inspire you for your next session.
