When a Country Girl, Love a Country Boy - Ranch House Engagement

If you've never been in front of a camera before - you aren't alone. When I first met Brittney and Bryce, they had never had professional photos done before! I told Bryce, all he needed to do was show me how much he loved Brittney through his actions and smiles that evening - and the man didn't disappoint!

He said to me "Kait, that has been my goal for the past 6 years, and will remain my goal for the rest of my life". Naturally we hit it off because if you know me, I'm a sucker for love!

Cochrane Ranch House

Nestled in the foothills, we chose the Cochrane Ranch House as our shoot location as Brittney and Bryce are home grown, country people who love the vast countryside that Alberta has to offer. Rolling hills, tall grass, and the cutest little bridges checked off the rustic and country vibe my couple feels at home in! To ensure the two were on brand, they both wore their cowboy boots to the shoot!

Much to my delight while swooning over theses two's style, Bryce mentioned he's going to be buying a "bigger, better and more expensive cowboy hat" for the wedding! We both had a good chuckle as we side eyed Brittney! At the end of our shoot, my heart was full as Brittney and Bryce showed up as authentically as they could be and as you'll notice through these photos, the love felt between these two is palpable!

If you are in the midst of planning your engagement session and aren't sure where or what to do, remember these photos are meant to capture who you are as a couple! For Brittney and Bryce, they wanted something outdoorsy and western inspired.
